I've been interested in hypnosis since the age of 10yro. Studying it seriously at 15yros and professionally at 17yro.

It was one my earliest studies of mind & consciousness. It has long been one of the tools in my healing tool box.

The goal of a hypnosis session is successful installation of a desired outcomes deep into the subconscious mind from where it eventually expresses automatically without any further conscious activity.

So what is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural altered mental state we all pass through twice a day. Once when we wake up and once when we go to sleep. It is the point where the logical mind can be bypassed and the unconscious mind directly addressed.

We enter that same altered state when we become engrossed in a movie, TV, book or music and find that time has passed but we barely noticed because we were so intently focused.

Are there different types of hypnosis?

There several types of hypnosis: In traditional hypnosis direct suggestions are made to the unconscious.  Ericksonian hypnosis[named after Master Hypnotist Dr. Milton Erickson] uses metaphors or little stories to present suggestions & ideas to the unconscious. Ericksonian hypnosis is both powerful & effective in eliminating  blockages & resistance. NLP[Neuro-Linguistic Programing] rather than use direct suggestions NLP uses the same thought patterns that are causing the problems to correct the issues. NLP uses many techniques such as anchoring, flash, reframing, and several others.

Conversational Hypnosis is one of the latest techniques in which ordinary conversation is used to bypass the conscious[logical] mind and access & interact with the unconscious mind directly.

At Integrated Magic I use a blend of these methods along with some I have discovered to help clients make changes.

Hypnosis Myths

Myth #1: Only weak willed people can be hypnotized.

A: Actually anyone & everyone can be hypnotized, it's a matter of the right technique.

Myth #2: Hypnotist has total control of the subject.

A: The hypnotist is the guide,  the facilitator in the therapeutic hypnotic process. The goal is to establish a connection channel to your unconscious in order to overcome the obstacles & barriers to a positive outcome.

Myth #3 If you can hear the hypnotist your not hypnotized.

A: This misconception has probably come about due to another common misconception which equates the state of hypnosis with sleep

A lot of people believe that when they are hypnotized they will not be aware of anything that is happening around them.  Yet, if you lost all connection with the hypnotist, how could you follow the instructions?

While the level of awareness of your surroundings may shift to some degree, you will still be aware of the hypnotist or his voice.

Myth #4 You can remain permanently stuck in hypnosis.

A: No one ever got stuck in hypnosis some people just enjoy the peaceful, restful feelings of deep trance.

Myth #5 Hypnosis is bad for your health.

A: Hypnosis can be very beneficial.

Currently along with using hypnosis here at Integrated Magic I use it routinely in my hospice practice. I deal with extreme pain management of the terminally ill when the regular hospice pain meds no longer work. I use hypnosis to help keep the patient alert & pain free.

At Integrated Magic I bring all that I have learned of the mind-body connection, Consciousness Technologies, Matrix Energetics & Quantum Physics, Quantum Fields, & hypnosis to bring about a Shift & change to a higher reality in your life.
