Inner/Higher Guides

Have you ever had a flash insight that turned out to be true? Have you ever wondered where that flash insight came from? Some folks ignore those thoughts that just pop into their minds. A: That entirely depends on how & what you define as a Guide.

First according to Quantum Physics I believe EVERYTHING in the entire universe has Consciousness. No matter what you call it: Higher Consciousness, Inner Guide, Higher Power, Higher Genius, Guardian Angel etc. There are forms of Consciousness outside beyond mere Human Consciousness.

We can reach this Guide [HP] through deep silence/reflection/prayers/meditation, dreams & guided imagery as Shaman have for aeons.

Q: How can you be sure such Guides and their information are trustworthy & beneficial?

A: By testing it - the same as you would any source of information. If the information is poor, bad or non beneficial FIRE the Guide and choose another.

Q: Is there any source of information on how to do this?

A: Yes. One of the best books is: The Inner Guide Meditation: A Spiritual Technology for the 21st Century by Edwin C Steinbrecher

Q: Are such things in line with Christianity?

A: In fact New Thought, which teaches that Infinite Intelligence or God is the sole reality, and that mind is more real & powerful than matter is part of the theology of Christian denominations such as Unity Church, Divine Science [founded on the teachings of Emma Curtis Hopkins], United Church of Religious Science [Science of Mind], founded by Ernest Holmes along with smaller denominations.

The primary text of most New Thought groups is the Christian Bible. "The Bible is Unity’s basic textbook. Scripture comes alive when it is understood as a clear and helpful guide for today’s experiences." "Divine Science's main textbook is the Bible, and it relates its lessons to your life and everyday experiences.
